Claire West has practiced occupational therapy for almost 20 years. She started her undergraduate degree specializing in speech language pathology however she fell in love with hand therapy after volunteering in the Hand Therapy Department at the University of Florida.  This experience ultimately changed her career path. Claire attended Nova Southeastern University where she received her Master’s in Occupational Therapy.

Following graduation, she moved to Atlanta for her fieldwork and received her Certification in Hand Therapy. Her passion for helping others and being an integral part of their successful recovery motivated her to open her own clinic. Claire enjoys getting to know her patients so she can tailor their rehabilitation plan to achieve their goals most effectively.

Outside the clinic, Claire loves spending time with her two daughters, cooking, and traveling. She also volunteers at her children’s’ schools and their church. Claire enjoys working out in her free time as exemplified by her completing the 2010 Louisville Ironman.
